Want to take your Dragonboat Experience to the next level? Come paddle for a week in Florida with Dophins and Manatees! This is a comprehensive training week to kick-start your season, led by some of the best coaches in North America.
There will be two sessions of camp this year, so be sure to sign up asap. This is a great opportunity to improve your technique, make new friends and be ready for 2027 racing season! Please coordinate with other members of KDBA for which week you want to attend as this is best experienced as a group to benefit our club.

Time on the water
A comprehensive training week to kick-start your season, lead by some of the best coaches in North America. Your week includes:• a group welcome party • 10 dragon boat practices • 2 individual extra help sessions • 2 video reviews • daily morning mobility & stretching • daily coaches talks • a final send-off and luncheon PLUS... • a custom camp jersey • access to discounted paddle guards and butt pads • discounted rates on accommodations • invitation to add-on programs 
Dates & Fees Week 1: Sunday, April 11th - Saturday, April 17th Week 2: Sunday, April 18th - Saturday, April 24th Canadian Residents - $600.00 US Residents - $485.00 Camp begins each Sunday with a full group meeting at 5:00pm, and ends each week with a team social at 12:00pm on Saturday. Important Notes • Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Athletes have the option of paying a deposit now, and the balance by December 1st, or, by paying the entire amount now. • Registration for returning paddlers opens on September 20th. Registration to the general public opens on October 1st • If the week you choose is already full, please register and add yourself to the waitlist. Life happens and we often end up offering space to our waitlisted friends. • If Week 1 & 2 sell out, it is possible that we will add a third week at the beginning of April; if this is of interest to you, please reach out to us directly.

Are you ready to take the next step in your dragon boat career?Want to learn how to steer, drum or call a race? Former President of Dragon Boat Canada and Senior A National Team Coach, Scott Murray, will lead two educational and informative courses outside regular camp hours. *These courses require a separate registration and fee to participate. Accommodations
For the past three years we have stayed at a wonderful property owned by Florida Dreams. It’s a refurbished condo building that contains newly renovated units, a central pool, gym, laundry room and more. Plus, it is a 15-minute walk to the park and a 2-minute walk to the Church.Rooms are not yet open for booking with our group rates, but you can take a look at the link below to view the property and available spaces. Once the group rate is available, we will let you know!

Important Dates: Arrive at camp on Sunday, in time for your meeting at 5:00pm. Depart on Saturday, no earlier than 5:00pm so that you don’t miss the race or team lunch! 
Cancellation Policy Initial deposits are non-refundable ($100 USD or $125 CAD), and your total fee becomes non-refundable as of March 1st.
